On 2 November, the Government Chief Digital Officer released new guidance explaining responsibilities under the whole-of-government direction to centralise significant digital investment and procurement decisions. The framework aims to coordinate technology spending and strengthen decision-making across government agencies; no separate funding amount was announced.
